Attorney John Lord of Wayne, PA; thieving loser

The state of Pennsylvania presented John A. Lad with a law license in 1972 after he graduated from St. Louis University School of Law.

The Pennsylvania Disciplinary Board found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in a pattern of conduct whereby he caused expenses and fees for services to be charged to clients, which funds and time were not utilized for client benefit, resulting in overbillings, estimated at $18,338.00, and unsubstantiated billings of $30,477.00
  • On various occasions, Johnny purchased airline tickets, for which he billed the firm, which passed on the expense to clients, but which were used for Petitioner's personal travel, for a total exceeding $9,000.00
  • Engaged in illegal practice of law while license suspended
  • Lied to trial court that he was not the John Lord who was subject to the suspension order
  • Failed to timely file Status Reports, inventory, and accounts as ordered by the court involving a decedent’s estate (Up Yours, said Johnny!)
  • Failed to advise his clients and opposing counsel that his law license had been suspended
  • Johnny executed a New York Stock Exchange Form U-4 in connection with his application for employment with Dean Witter Reynolds, Inc., in which he falsely denied that his license to practice law had ever been revoked or suspended
  • After Dean Witter learned of Johnny’s falsehoods, it immediately terminated him

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Josh by ordering that he be disbarred as of June 1998, however the same comedians voted to reinstate Johnny's law license several years later.

In October 2006, the comedians sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court voted to reinstate Johnny the Thief law license.

And lastly,as one would suspect, Johnny and his firm fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on their self-serving website at www.myphillylawer.com. Apparently, they decided to conceal this highly relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting their future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. December 2023), Johnny practices his so-called brand of law with MyPhillyLawyer at 1500 John F. Kennedy Blvd in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
