Judge April Ademiluyi of Upper Marlboro, MD; ignoramus, scofflaw

The state of Maryland provided April E. Ademiluyi with a law license in 2007 after he graduated from George Mason University School of Law.

The Judicial Commission found April guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to perform judicial duties competently (ignoramus)
  • Refused to comply with reasonable directive of judges with supervisory authority over her
  • Continued to refuse to comply with directives from supervisory judges after being cautioned regarding same
  • Failed and refused to cooperate with other judges in the administration of court business after being cautioned regarding the matter
  • Failed to be candid/honest with disciplinary authorities (Screw you, said April!)
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Engaged in routine unauthorized tardiness
  • Refused to comply with established protocols for the management and disposition of cases, absences, telework, and recusals
  • Engaged in inappropriate conduct during a jury trial
  • Exhibited disrespectful, combative, and unprofessional demeanor toward other judges, law clerks, court personnel, and others
  • Instructed/directed and/or encouraged law clerks and/or court staff in a manner inconsistent with her obligations under the Code of Judicial Conduct
  • Failed to perform judicial duties without bias or prejudice
  • Failed to give precedence to the duties of her judicial office
  • Failed to comply with the law (scofflaw)
  • Engaged in a pattern of behavior unbecoming of an officer of the court
  • Failed to maintain the dignity of her judicial office
  • Engaged in improper ex parte (one-sided) communications
  • Allowed herself to be swayed by public clamor or fear of criticism
  • Failed to disqualify herself from matters when disqualification was mandatory
  • Failed to comply with all applicable election laws/regulations during her campaign for office
  • Refused to complete judicial training as required
  • Failed to cooperate with training committee
  • Exhibited a caustic and disrespectful demeanor
  • Made improper campaign pledge wherein she promised to give a voice to sexual assault victims and the “Me Too” movement

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to April by the apologists for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme Court.

As we speak (ca. November 2023), April continues to dispense her so-called idea of jurisprudence as a Prince George’s County Circuit Court Judge in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
