Attorney Bobby Pangburn of Eagle, ID; cheating slacker

The state of Idaho presented Bobby Eugene Pangburn with a law license in 2017 after he graduated from the University of Puget Sound School of Law.

FYI: This wasn’t Bobby’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree, he previously received a complimentary reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

The Idaho Bar Counsel found Bobby guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to safeguard client funds
• Failed to communicate with his client
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation
• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Refused to refund portion of advance fee not earned (cheater)
• A hearing by the Client Assistance Fund determined that Bobby owed his client $7,280 out of the $12,000 the client had paid Bobby
• Failed to keep funds separate until the dispute between the lawyer and client was resolved

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Idaho Supreme Court punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.  

As we speak (ca. December 2023), Bobby practices his so-called brand of law at 3042 South Whitepost Way in Eagle, Idaho.
