Judge Glen Stotler of Berkeley Springs, WV; ethical troll

The state of West Virginia presented Glen R. Stotler with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law.

The West Virginia Judicial Investigation Commission found Glen guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to preserve the integrity of the juidicial system
• Failed to avoid impropriety or the appearance of impropriety
• Made baseless accusations designed to solely to impugn the integrity of two members of the West Virginia State Bar
• Failed to conduct any factual investigation into the allegations regarding the Judicial Disciplinary Counsel (JDC) before regurgitating the untimely, unsupported allegations made by FCJ (Family Court Judge) Goldston
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Failed to comply with the law (scofflaw)
• Abused the prestige of his judicial office

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Judicial Misfits sitting on the West Judicial Investigation Commission punished Glen by gifting him with a complimentary censure and fined in the amount of  $5,000.00.

As we speak (ca. December 2023), Glen continues to dispense his so-called brand of jurisprudence as a 23^rd Family Court Circuit Judge in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia.
