Attorney Nicholas Palerino of Opelika, AL; convicted of manslaughter

The state of Alabama and Tennessee presented Nicholas Andrew Palerino with a law license in 2014 after he graduated from Faulkner University School of Law.

The Alabama State Bar Association found Nick guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Indicted by Lee County Grand Jury for Reckless Manslaughter
  • Cited for reckless driving caused the death of another person by operating a vehicle in a reckless or grossly negligent manner
  • Nick was looking at his phone while operating a vehicle resulting in a traffic accident that caused the death of another person
  • Nick was sentenced to serve a prison term of one year

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Alabama Supreme Court punished Nick by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. November 2023), Nick will resume practicing his so-called brand of law at 114 North 8th Street in Opelika, Alabama in early 2025.
