Solicitor Fiona Davis of Tasmania; moronic slacker
The Law Society of Tasmania provided Fiona Rachel Davis with a law license in 2013 after she graduated from the University of Tasmania School of Law.
The Legal Profession Board of Tasmania found Fiona guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.
-
Engaged in unsatisfactory professional misconduct
-
Failed to provide his client with any disclosure of costs while employed by said client
-
Failed to provide an update to the verbal estimate of $5,000.00 for legal fees that Fiona provided to her client at the initial meeting in, where the client has been charged around $25,292.00 in legal fees
-
Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
-
Inappropriately told the client that she could not attend the arbitration meeting and did not provide an explanation as to why she could not attend
-
Delayed in providing her client with details of the outcome of the arbitration meeting
-
Failed to progress the client’s property settlement in a timely manner
-
Failed to provide the client with competent and diligent advice about the proposed settlement with the other party
As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Legal Profession Board punished Fiona by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.
As we speak (ca. November 2023), Fiona practices her so-called brand of law at 83 Davey Street in Hobart, Tasmania.
