Former Judge Richard Flier of San Francisco; bigoted loser

The state of Iowa presented Richard S. Flier with a law license in 1972 after he graduated from University of California College of Law San Francisco.

The California Commission on Judicial Performance found Dick guilty of engaging in the following misconduct, all of which took place while he was sitting as a Contra Costa County Superior Court Judge.

Dick made the following statement to an African-American defendant in open court about being questioned by the DA.

  • “When he asks you a question, I want you to answer only that question. Got it? Okay.”
  • “Good boy. Go ahead, please.”
  • Dick manifested racial insensitivity by referring to the defendant as “good boy”
  • Dick damaged the respect for the judiciary held by members of the public who were present at the hearing
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Conduct brought the judiciary into disrepute
  • Failed to maintain high standards of judicial conduct
  • Failed to avoid the appearance of bias or prejudice
  • Dick’s remark led to substantial adverse publicity that further diminished public confidence in the judiciary

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Commission punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary admonishment.

And lastly, it should be noted that Dick receives an annual judicial pension for 20-years on the bench compliments of the State of California that paid him $123,399.48 in 2012 and $148,116.72 in 2022. He also received a state pension for working 18months at the Department of General Services that paid him $5,849.76 in 2012 and $6,799.68 in 2022.

As we speak (ca. December 2023), Dick practices his so-called brand of law with ADR Services Inc. at 100 1st Street in San Francisco, California.
