The state of California presented Robert Lewis Bachman with a law license in 1973 after he graduated from the University California Davis School of Law.

The California State Bar found Bobby guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to maintain required balance in his client trust account
• Misappropriated (stole) cleint funds
• During 13-month period, Bobby withdrew more than $82,000 in fund belonging to an estate
• Bobby attempted to replenish the $82,000 before the probate court ordered the release of said funds
• Committed multiple acts of wrongdoing

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the State Bar Court punished Bobby by gifting him with an 18-month suspension of his law license.
