Attorney Amy Marshall of Enterprise, AL; ethical troll

The state of Alabama presented Amy Cauthen Marshall with a law license in 2010 after she graduated from the Birmingham School of Law.

The Alabama State Bar Association found Amy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in a conflict of interest
  • Knowingly assisted a judge or judicial officer in conduct that is a violation of applicable Canons of Judicial Ethics or other law
  • Engage in conduct that adversely reflects on her fitness to practice
  • Involved in an extra-marital affair with District Court Judge Christopher Kaminski
  • During the Kaminski affair and before the relationship became public, Amy failed to disclose her relationship with Judge Kaminski to her clients, opposing counsels or opposing parties
  • Amy also did not seek and did not obtain conflict waivers from her clients regarding her relationship with Judge Kaminski

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Alabama Supreme Court punished Amy by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. September 2023), Amy practices her so-called brand of law at 210 East Grubbs Street in Enterprise, Alabama.
