Attorney Stacy Scheff of Tucson, AZ; ethical troll

The state of Arizona presented Stacy Scheff with a law license in 2011 after she graduated from the University of Arizona School of Law.

The Arizona State Bar found Stacy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Filed meritless pleadings in a guardianship/conservatorship case
  • Attempted to communicate directly with the represented opposing party without the knowledge or consent of opposing counsel
  • Charged with one count of misdemeanor Theft-Control Property which resulted in an agreement for informal diversion
  • Misconduct involved selfish or dishonest motive
  • Committed a criminal act that reflects adversely on the lawyer's honesty, trustworthiness or fitness as a lawyer in other respects
  • Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Stacey by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand and assessed investigative costs of $1,200.00.

As we speak (ca. August 2023), Stacey practices her so-called brand of law the Law Office of Stacy Scheff at 2720 East Broadway Blvd in Tucson, Arizona.
