Attorney Lauren L. Otte of Milwaukee, WI; lying loser

The state of California presented Lauren L. Otte with a law license in 2018 after she graduated from Marquette University School of Law.

The Office of Lawyer Registration (OLR) found Lauren guilty of engaging in the following

• Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit or misrepresentation
• Knowingly made a false statement of fact or law to a tribunal
• Failed to correct a false statement of material fact or law she previously made to the tribunal
• Misrepresented [lied] to the court the reason she requested an adjournment
• In seeking postponement of a hearing, Lauren lied to the judge that his grandfather had just died, a statement she knew to be patently untrue

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Wisconsin Supreme Court punished Lauren by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. August 2023), Lauren practices her so-called brand of law in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
