Attorney Catherine Czyz of West Palm Beach, FL; cheating loser

The state of Florida presented Catherine Elizabeth Czyz with a law license in1997 after she graduated from the University of Florida School of Law.

The Florida State Bar found Cathy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in illegal practice of law in federal court when she wasn’t licensed
  • Never attempted to gain admission to practice in federal court
  • Continued to file pleadings in federal case despite not being licensed to so act
  • Filed a clearly frivolous motion in federal court seeking sanction against the opposing counsel for removing the case to federal court
  • At the time Cathy filed the civil complaint was moved to federal court, the client had pad her over $40,000 in fees and costs
  • Cathy excessively billed her client (cheater)
  • Failed to maintain a trust account during her representation of the client

As a direct consequence of her misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Cathy by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of her law license effective January 2022. She was also ordered to pay restitution to her client in the amount of $41,798.45.

As we speak (ca. July 2023), Cathy will resume her so-called practice of law with The Czyz Law Firm PLLC at 931 Village Blvd in West Palm Beach, Florida in early 2023 if not earlier.
