Former Judge Gary Goetteman of Claypool, AZ; misogynistic loser

The state of Arizona presented Gary L. Goetteman with a law license in 1985 after he graduated from the University of Arizona School of Law.

The Judicial Commission found Gary guilty of engaging in the following misconduct, all of which occurred while he was sitting as a Globe Justice Court Justice of the Peace.

• Engaged in negative stereotyping of litigants appearing before him
• Failed to be patient, dignified, and courteous towards those appearing before him
• Failed to place files on clerk’s desk by dropping them on the floor next to her desk without a word and walked away
• Gary’s remarks were unprofessional, unacceptable, insulting and offensive to women
• Gary created a hostile work environment
• Gary’s comments about female staff was negative, derogatory, discriminative, insulting and offensive

Gary made the following misogynistic statements.

• “Some of the most profane, manipulative, and backstabbing people I've worked with have been women.”
• “Men tend to get physical and just hit you.”
• “Women are foul, dirty and manipulative."

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Gary by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. July 2023) Gary practices his so-called brand of law with the Law Office of Joe Lodge at 823 North San Francisco Street in Flagstaff, Arizona.
