► Judge Lawrence Cho of Santa Monica: Today’s “Humanitarian” Award Winner

The State of Florida provided Lawrence Hsien-Chun Cho with a law license in 1987 after he graduated from Rutgers University School of Law.

FYI: Former Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger was duped into appointing Larry as a Los Angeles Superior Court judge in 20005. Larry didn’t receive the appointment because he was the most qualified attorney in the greater Los Angeles area. He received it because he had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

It should be notedthat Larry has had his significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough for the past thirty-three (33) years. Apparently, no self-respecting law firm in the greater Los Angeles area was about to offer him a good paying job.

In one recent matter (ca. June 2023), Larry presided over an eviction proceeding in Santa Monica.

The defendant in the eviction matter states that during a hearing that Larry engaged in the following unethical and/or highly questionable conduct.

  • Defendant’s attorney Jacob Woosher asked Larry for a 5-minute break to speak with his client due to her late arrival to the hearing
  • Mr. Woosher advised Larry that his client had a disability and that the request for a short delay was to accommodate for the client’s disability
  • The client suffered from severe PTSD (Post-traumatic stress disorder) and was receiving treatment for the past six years
  • The PTSD caused the client to suffer a severe flashback and dissociation with her surroundings and as a result she was lucky to even arrive at court for the hearing

And lastly, one must wonder how Larry the Humanitarian would react to a defendant who was blind appearing before him. Would Larry order him evicted from his apartment because he was unable to read the lawsuit filed by the landlord against him?

As we speak (ca. June 2023), Larry the Humanitarian continues to dispense his so-called idea of jurisprudence as a Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge.
