Attorney Michael Rehill of Vernon, NJ; ethical misfit

The state of New Jersey presented Michael F. Rehill with a law license in 1972 after he graduated from New York School of Law.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Mikey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Engaged in prohibited business transactions with his client
• Obtained three loans from his client with $45,000 remaining unpaid
• Obtained the loans from his client without the required written disclosures and signed consents

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Mikey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.       

As we speak (ca. June 2023), Mikey practices his so-called brand of law at 5 State Route 94 in Vernon, New Jersey.
