Attorney Michael Mitchell of Parker, CO; scamming loser

The state of Colorado provided Michael Thomas Mitchell with a law license in 1978 after he graduated from the University of Colorado School of Law.

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Mikey’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received three (3) admonitions for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

The Colorado State Bar found Mikey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • The SBA (Small Business Administration) was significantly harmed by Mikey's misrepresentations in a loan application
  • Mikey surmised that chances of obtaining an SBA guaranteed loan from a financial institution would be enhanced if the SBA believed that Church, a female, was listed as a majority shareholder
  • Engaged in gross negligence
  • Violated the highest standards of morality and honesty
  • Neglected a legal matter entrusted to him
  • Failed to communicate with his client
  • Failed to respond to client information requests
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, dishonesty, or misrepresentatio

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Mikey by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. August 2023), Mikey practices his so-called brand of law at 12827 North Second Street in Parker, Colorado.

BEWARE: Mikey does not carry legal malpractice insurance
