Attorney Kimberly Theobald of Waukesha, WI; Dufus The state of Wisconsin presented Kimberly A. Theobald with a law license in 1992 after she graduated Southern Illinois University Law School.
The Office of Lawyer Regulation (OLR) found Paul guilty of the following misconduct.
The first matter dealt with Kimberly’s negligence/incompetence in handling a divorce matter and her conduct involving a bankruptcy case.
The second matter dealt with Kimberley’s misconduct in dealing with a client’s tax case wherein she failed to complete the client’s tax returns for more than 11 months, missing a deadline in the process, which caused interest and penalty charges to be assessed against her client.
The third matter related to Kimberly’s representation of a client seeking to protect her son’s interest in her ex-spouse’s estate, thereby causing the client damage.
The fourth matter involved Kimberly’s representation of a client in a matter involving a failure to pay child support.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Wisconsin Supreme Court punished Kimberly by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.
