Attorney Larry Farris of Milwaukee; serial liar

The state of Wisconsin presented Larry Farris with a law license in 1973 after he graduated University of Wisconsin Law School.

The Office of Lawyer Regulation (OLR) found Paul guilty of the following misconduct.

While his law license was suspended in 2002, Larry continued to illegally practice law. In his application to have his license reinstated, Larry lied when he stated he had only appeared in one small claims matter during his suspension. Shortly thereafter, he told the same lie to OLR personnel. Subsequently, OLR discovered that during his suspension Larry had illegally participated in 12 legal matters either by making court appearances or by signing or filing court documents.

As a result of this misconduct, OLR allowed Larry to enter into a diversion/alternative to discipline program in late 2002 during which time he was prohibited from practicing law. However, OLR later discovered that during this diversion program Larry participated in at least 12 legal matters.

OLR ruled that Larry’s conduct in lying on his application for reinstatement of his law license involved fraud, deceit and dishonest.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Wisconsin Supreme Court punished Larry by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2012) Larry practices law at 7357 North Bishop Circle in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
