Attorney Herbert Minkel Jr. of Boston, MA; tax scofflaw

The state of New York presented Herbert P. Minkel Jr. with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from New York University (NYU) School of Law.

The Appellate Division, First Department Disciplinary Committee found Herbie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Pled guilty to one count of failing to file a New York State tax return
• Found guilty of failing to file U.S. tax return for three consecutive years

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the First Department Disciplinary Committee punished Herbie by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. March 2022), Herbie practices his so-called brand of law at 85 East India Row in Boston, Massachusetts.
