Attorney David Pettinato of Tampa, FL; lying loser

The State of Florida provided David Pettinato with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from Thomas M. Cooley School of Law.

FYI: Cooley is ranked as the worst or one of the worst law schools in the country out of 202 ABA accredited schools. Proof of such a ranking is the fact that Donald Trump’s former attorney and fixer was none other than convicted felon Michael Cohen.

The Florida State Bar found Davey guilty of the following misconduct.

• Court found Davey’s disclosures regarding a chosen appraiser insufficient
• As a result of Davey’s insufficient appraiser disclosures, the court dismissed the matter with prejudice
• The court awarded attorney fees and expenses against Davey and his co-counsel individually
• Failed to timely notify the court or opposing counsel upon learning of a notarization defect in his client’s sworn Proof of Loss
• Failed to act with candor in dealings with a tribunal
• Failed to act fairly to opposing party and counsel
• Was untruthful in statements to other

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Davey by gifting him with a complimentary 10-day suspension of his law license and was assessed investigative costs of $1,261.60.   

As we speak, (ca. March 2023), Davey practices his so-called brand of law with Older Lundy Koch & Martino at 1000 West Cass Street in Tampa, Florida.
