Judge Charles Poe of Princeton, WV; bigoted scofflaw

The West Virginia Judicial Investigation Commissionhas found Charlie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Engaged in overt discriminatory actions and expressions of bias
• Improperly used his judicial position to gain preferential treatment
• Examples of Charlie’s bias and prejudice include his use of epithets, slurs, demeaning nicknames, negative stereotyping, attempted humor based on stereotypes and irrelevant references to personal characteristics
• Engaged in conduct that failed to promote public confidence in the judiciary
• Abused the prestige of his judicial office to advance his personal interests
• Failed to be patient, dignified, and courteous to litigants, jurors, witnesses, lawyers, court staff, court officials and others with whom Charlie dealt with in an official capacity
• Faield to comply with the law (scofflaw)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Commission punished Mikey by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.

As one would suspect, Mikey did what most cowardly Judicial Misfits in West Virginia do under the circumstances, he resigned his judicial office and promised to never again seek a judgeship in the future.

As we speak (ca. February 2023), Charlie continues to dispense his so-called idea of jurisprudence as a Mercer County Magistrate Court judge in Princeton, West Virginia.
