Attorney Harry De Mell of New York City; Dufus

The state of New York presented Harry A. De Mell with a law license in 1978 after he graduated from New York University (NYU) Law School.

The Departmental Discipline Committee for the 1st Judicial Department found Harry guilty of the following misconduct.

In December 2009, the Committee on Admissions and Grievances of the Second Circuit Court of Appeals reprimanded Steven for:
  1. Failing to file a timely response for an extension of time to respond to a motion to dismiss, which resulted in prejudice to his client (victim)
  2. Failure to file a pre-argument statement in an administrative matter, resulting in the case being dismissed
  3. Failing to timely file required papers
  4. Failing to timely request extension of time in several cases
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on a panel of the 1st Judicial Department punished Harry by gifting him with a censure.

As we speak (ca. June 2012) Harry practices law at 224 Broadway in New York, NY.
