Attorney Steven Mundie of New York City; certified Dumbo, liar

 
The state of New York presented Steven Andrew Mundie with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from Pace University Law School.
 
The Departmental Discipline Committee for the 1st Judicial Department found Steven guilty of the following misconduct.
 
In 2009, the Committee on Admissions and Grievances of the Second Circuit Court of Appeals sanctioned Steven for:
  1. Misstatements of facts (falsehoods) contained in an immigration matter
  2. For engaging in plagiarism by copying significant portions of another attorneys legal argument into his so-called moving papers
  3. That approximately 100 petitions for review that Steven submitted were dismissed for his failure to comply with court scheduling orders
  4. In 15 other cases, Steven’s client’s were irreparably harmed when their cases were dismissed because of his gross incompetence and/or negligence
  5. In eight other cases, Steven submitted stipulations withdrawing petitions with prejudice (barring future filings) after the briefing deadlines had passed
Steven’s conduct over many, many years substantially harmed his clients (victims). Additionally, his incompetence led to a waste of judicial resources.
 
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on a panel of the 1st Judicial Department punished Steven by gifting him with a censure.
 
As we speak (ca. June 2012) Steven practices law with the Mundie Law Firm, P.C. at 112 West 34th Street in New York, NY.
