Attorney Joseph Lento of Philadelphia, PA; ethical troll

The state of Pennsylvania presented Joseph D. Lento with a law license in 2002 after he graduated from Temple University School of Law.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Brian guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Improperly shared legal fees with non-lawyer
• Compensated or gave something of value to a person to recommend or secure the Joey’s employment by a client
• Unethically sought to expand his practice in Pennsylvania by contacting various employees at the Criminal Justice Center
• Rewarded a person for having made a recommendation resulting in the Joey’s employment by a client
• Attempted to recruit various persons to help him obtain new clients

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Brian’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Tree. He previously received a complimentary suspension of his law license for failing to pay a fee arbitration award.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Emmanuel by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Joey fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.lentolawgroup.com. Apparently, he decided to conceal this highly relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. December 2022), Joey practices his so-called brand of law with the Lento Law Group at 1650 Market Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
