Attorney Ronald Scott Spears of Akron, OH; slacker, loser

The state of Ohio presented Ronald Scott Spears with a law license in 1998 after he graduated from the University of Kentucky School of Law.

Disciplinary Counsel found Ronnie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to advise his client that he was not covered by malpractice insurance
• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Failed to deposit advance fee into a client trust account
• Failed to comply with client information requests
• Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Misconduct involved multiple offenses

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Ronnie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. December 2022), Ronnie practices his so-called brand of law at 540 White Pond Drive in Akron, Ohio.
