Attorney Sidney Smith of Chicago, IL; thieving loser

The state of Illinois presented Sidney Boyston Smith with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from St. Louis University School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Commission found Sid guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

In one matter, Sid failed to report his mother's death to her retirement benefit fund, and, for 10 months, he received and used $37,151 in annuity payments to which he was not entitled.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Sid by gifting him with a complimentary 5-month suspension of his law license.

And lastly, because Attorney Misfits in Illinois are held to a much lower standard of conduct Sid was never criminally charged with fraud and/or grand theft. 

As we speak (ca. December 2022), Sid practices his so-called brand of law with Sidney B. Smith & Associates at 200 East Randolph Street in Chicago, Illinois.
