Attorney José Oliveira of Apopka, FL; ethical troll

The state of Florida provided José G. Oliveira with a law license in 2009 after he graduated from Barry University School of Law.

FYI: This isn’t Jose’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

The Florida State Bar found Jose guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Consulted with a prospective client about a civil dispute and requested that the prospective client email him the contract related to the dispute
• After receiving the contract, Jose advised the prospective client that he could not open the first email that was sent but that he could not represent him in the matter due to a conflict of interest
• Jose then later entered an appearance on behalf of the opposing party in a lawsuit regarding the same subject matter
• Counsel for the plaintiff filed a Motion to Disqualify based on the alleged conflict of interest, and following a hearing on the motion, the trial court disqualified Oliveira from representing the opposing party in the civil lawsuit

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Jose by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Jose law fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.po-law.com. Apparently, he chose to conceal this relevant information for the purpose of not limiting his future victim pool.  

As we speak, (ca. January 2023), Jose practices his so-called brand of law with Parti and Oliveira, PLLC at 1284 Seburn Road in Apopka, Florida.
