Judge Michael Mulvihill of Stockton, CA; drunken liar
The state of California presented Michael J. Mulvihill with a law license in 1998 after he graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law.
The Commission on Judicial Performance found Judge Mikey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.
-
Crashed his vehicle on Pacific Avenue in Stockton while driving under the influence (DUI)
-
Video captured Mikey’s vehicle speeding as it approaches a bridge crossing the Calaveras River, crashing into a sign and a barrier on the left side of the roadway at the overpass, swerving and crashing into the curb and fencing on the right side of the roadway, and then coming to a stop
-
Mikey’s vehicle suffered significant damage: all airbags had deployed; the front right quarter of the vehicle was peeled back; the passenger side-view mirror was broken off; the left front tire was flat and separated from the rim; the rear right tire was pushed inward; and the rear passenger side window was shattered
-
After the accident, and before law enforcement arrived, Mikey tried to re-enter his vehicle, telling bystanders that he was going to drive home
-
The bystanders blocked Mikey’s entry to the vehicle, and tried to confiscate his keys, telling him that he was in no condition to drive
-
Mikey tried to convince the bystanders to allow him to leave the scene, falsely stating that this would be “extra bad” for him because he was a truck driver
-
Attempted to leave the scene of an accident
-
Lied to arresting officers that he had only drank three pints of beer
-
Knowingly lied to bystanders that he was a truck driver
-
Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation
As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Commission punished Mikey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
As we speak (ca. December 2022), Mikey continues to dispense his so-called idea of jurisprudence as a San Joaquin County Superior Court judge in Stockton, California with the caveat that he be sober.
