Judge Erica Cornejo of Tucson, AZ; slacker, loser

The state of Arizona provided Erica Cornejo with a law license in 2006 after she graduated from the University of Arizona School of Law.

The Commission on Judicial Conduct found Erica guilty of engaging in the following misconduct, all of which took place while she was sitting as a Coconino County Superior Court judge in Flagstaff.

• Improperly dismissed two lawsuits in violation of Arizona law
• Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Erica!)
• Failed to act in manner promoting public confidence in the integrity of the judiciary
• Failed to avoid impropriety and/or the appearance of impropriety
• Failed to perform her duties of judicial office fairly and impartially
• Failed to accord every person who has a legal interest in a proceeding, or that person’s lawyer, the right to be heard according to law (aka, due process)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Erica by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

And lastly, it appears as though Erica is of the opinion that “due process” is the means by which the grass becomes moist in the am.

As we speak (ca. November 2022), Erica practices her so-called brand of jurisprudence as a Justice of the Peace for Precinct Two in Tucson, Arizona.
