Attorney Ann Lokuta of Forty-Fort, PA; slacker, loser

The State of Pennsylvania presented Ann Helen Lokuta with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from the Charleston School of Law.

The Court of Judicial Discipline of Pennsylvania found Annie guilty of the following misconduct, all of which took place while she was a Luzerne County Court of Common Pleas judge.

• Failed to be patient, dignified and courteous to litigants, jurors, witnesses, lawyers, and others with whom she dealt in her official capacity
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to require similar conduct as set forth above of lawyers and of her staff, court officials, and others subject to her direction and control
• Engaged in conduct which brings the judicial office into disrepute
• Failed to dispose promptly of the business of the court (slacker)
• Failed to conduct herself at all times in a manner that promotes public confidence in the integrity and impartiality of the judiciary
• Failed to disqualify herself in a proceeding in which her impartiality might reasonably be questioned, including, but not limited to instances where she has a personal bias or prejudice concerning a party
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Annie was frequently absent from the courthouse during normal working days and hours
• Failed to disqualify herself from cases when disqualification was mandated

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the Pennsylvania Supreme punished Annie ordering her removed from her judicial office.

As we speak (ca. October 2022), Annie practices her so-called brand of law at 1188 Wyoming Avenue in Forty-Fort, Pennsylvania.
