Attorney Alan Robertson of Blair, WI; liar, repeat offender

The state of Wisconsin presented Alan S. Robertson with a law license in 1998 after he graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Law.

The Office of Lawyer Regulation (OLR) found Alan guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Neglected client estate matter

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Wisconsin Supreme Court punished Alan by gifting him with a complimentary private reprimand.

Alan’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation
• Knowingly make a false statement of fact or law to a tribunal
• Failed to correct a false statement of material fact or law previously made to a tribunal
• Final Accounting filed with the Court by Alan did not accurately reflect the disbursements made on behalf of the estate
• Failed to disclose in his Motion for Order Authorizing the Set-Aside of $10,000.00 to the Surviving Spouse as Exempt from Creditor
