Attorney Edward McCloskey of Metairie, LA; ethical gremlin

The state of Louisiana presented Edward J McCloskey with a law license in 1971 after he graduated from Tulane University School of Law.

The Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board found Eddie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to safeguard client funds
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
  • Misconduct involved dishonesty or selfish motive
  • Misconduct involved multiple offenses
  • Eddie claimed and took possession of funds that belonged to former clients to which he was not entitled (cheater)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Eddie by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. September 2022), Eddie practices his so-called brand of law at 3045 Ridgelake Street in Metairie, Louisiana.
