Former Judge Cinda Fox of Stockton, CA; greedy ingrate

Former Gov. Gray Davis was duped into appointing Cinda Fox as a judge on the San Joaquin Superior Court in Stockton in 2003. Cinda wasn’t the most qualified attorney in the Stockton area. She received the appointment after spending years as a compliant lackey for the local political hacks.

While presiding over a murder trial in March 2009, the defendant, wielding a knife, jumped at Fox and punched her three times. He was unable to use his knife to stab her because court security shot him dead.

Fox claimed the struggle with Paradiso left her with emotional scars, which is the alleged reason why she went on disability retirement within ten (10) months of the incident (Jan 2010). Cinda’s lifetime retirement at taxpayer expense as of 2010 is $116,213 plus fully paid lifetime medical insurance. The $116,213 is what Cinda nets since she doesn’t have to pay any tax on it or the medical insurance costs. At 59-years-of age, the total cost of her pension and medical insurance will easily cost Californians $3 million or more.

Greedy Cinda Sues San Joaquin County and the Sheriff

Two months after she went on disability retirement, Greedy Cinda filed a lawsuit in San Joaquin County Superior Court against the County and Sheriff Moores. In her lawsuit, Cinda had the chutzpah to seek damages for medical bills she incurred from her alleged emotional scars. Cinda also claimed that she suffered a loss of earnings and diminished earning capacity. This is pure BS because Greedy Cinda was receiving a tax free pension of $116,213.

An additional problem with this sham claim is the fact that her medical bills were being paid by the insurance provided to her by the State of Calfiornia.

In early 2012, Cinda got her comeuppance when a visiting Santa Clara County Judge James Kleinberg ruled that she failed to provide sufficient facts to prove her case.

Poor Cinda will now have to try and get buy on a measly $2,230 weekly income. Almost makes ya wanna cry!
