Attorney James Hatch of Metairie, LA; ethical misfit

The state of Louisiana presented James Andrew Hatch with a law license in 1999 after he graduated from Louisiana State University (LSU) School of Law.

The Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board found Jimmy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in the illegal practice of law while license suspended
  • Filed a petition for damages for a client despite having his license suspended at the time

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. October 2022), Jimmy practices his so-called brand of law at 1421 N Causeway Blvd in Metairie, Louisiana.
