Attorney Christopher Cogley of Phoenix, AZ; ethical gremlin

The state of Arizona presented Christopher Cogley with a law license in 1993 after he graduated from Arizona State University School of Law.

The Arizona State Bar found Chris guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to appear for review hearing regarding his appointment as guardian ad litem for a child
  • Failed to file explanation for his failure to appear for the child
  • Failed to respond to court’s orders (Screw you, said Chris!)
  • Due to disregarding court orders, Chris was relieved of his responsibilities as guardian ad litem

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders of Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Chris by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. September 2022), Chris practices his so-called brand of law in Phoenix, Arizona.
