Attorney Jesse Maanao of Portland, OR; slacker, loser

The State of Oregon presented Jesse Maanao with a law license in 2004 after he graduated from Seattle University School of Law.

The Disciplinary Counsel found Jesse guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to file client employment authorization form for over 10 months
• Failed to comply with client information requests for nearly one year
• Failed to promptly provide his clients with their file upon their request
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to timely communicate with his clients
• Failed to safeguard client funds
• Failed to promptly provide his clients with a copy of their file upon being terminated

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Gary by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. August 2022), Jesse practices his so-called brand of law with Oregon Immigration Services at 1318 SW 12^th Street in Portland, Oregon.
