Attorney Lora Scott of Orlando, FL; ethical misfit

The state of Florida provided presented Lora S. Scott with a law license in 2006 after she graduated from Barry University School of Law.

The Florida State Bar found Lora guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to respond to court orders related to her client’s overdue discovery responses
• Failed to timely advise her client of the court’s orders
• As a result of Lora’s conduct, the court awarded attorney’s fees and costs to opposing counsel for which Lora and her client were held jointly liable

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Lora by gifting her with a complimentary 30-day suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. August 2022), Lora practices his so-called brand of law at 37 North Orange Avenue in Orlando, Florida.
