Attorney Christopher Johnson of Wilmington, NC; slacker, loser

The state of North Carolina presented Christopher Dean Johnson with a law license in 2003 after he graduated from the University of Tulsa School of Law.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Chris guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Engaged in multiple acts of misrepresentation
• Committed one act of fabrication to cover his neglect
• Conduct negatively impacted the administration of justice in his clients' domestic cases
• Actions resulted in potential significant harm to his clients, the administration of justice and the legal profession
• Failed to promptly file contempt motion on client’s behalf
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Failed to expedite client litigation
• Failed to adequately communicate with client
• Failed to keep clients informed of status of their case
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation
• Failed to attend a required status conference on behalf of his client

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Chris gifting him with a complimentary stayed 3-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Chris.

As we speak (ca. August 2022) Chris practices his so-called brand of law at 19 North 5^th Avenue in Wilmington, North Carolina.
