Attorney Mark E. Robinson of Milton, WI; ethical leper-con

The state of Wisconsin provided Mark E. Robinson with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School.

The Office of Lawyer Regulation (OLR) found Mark guilty of the following misconduct.
  • Engaged in multiple conflicts of interest
  • Repeatedly engaged in conduct involving dishonest, fraud and/or deceit
  • Attempted to have direct contact with a party represented by counsel
Mark’s misconduct involved his conduct in multiple real estate transactions, some of which involved property he had an ownership interest. The conflicts of interest specifically related to Mark’s representation of client’s in real estate sales when he was an partial owner of the same real estate. Mark then had the chutzpah to actually bill his clients (victims) while engaged in these egregious conflicts of interest.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Wisconsin Supreme Court punished Mark by gifting him with a complimentary six-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. Jude 2012) Mark practices law with Roethe Pope Roethe LLP at 508 Campus Street in Milton, Wisconsin. As expected, the Roethe Law firm makes no mention of Mark’s misconduct and suspension on its self-serving website at www.roethlaw.com. I suppose it wouldn’t help increase the future victim pool if they exposed Mark for what he is on their website!
