Attorney Ralph DiLeone of Raleigh, NC; ethical gremlin

The state of North Carolina presented Ralph DiLeone with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from the University of Toledo School of Law.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Ralph guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

FYI: The University of Toledo Law School is ranked as the 149th best law school in the country out of 200 ABA(American Bar Association) accredited law schools.

  • Allowed for illegal practice of law by attorney Ms. Journey who was not licensed in North Carolina
  • Permitted Ms. Journey to provide legal services to North Carolina residents in North Carolina legal matters
  • Charged and collected fees from North Carolina residents for Ms. Journey’s work
  • Sponsored Journey for pro hac vice admission to North Carolina courts even though she was ineligible for such admission as a North Carolina resident
  • Ralph’s for pro hac vice admission contained false statements about Ms. Journey’s eligibility for pro hac vice admission
  • Failedto acknowledge the wrongful nature of his conduct d to notify court of Ms. Journey’s ineligibility for pro hac vice admission
  • Failed to display any remorse
  • Lacked any efforts to rectify the consequences of the misconduct

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Ralph by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Ralph fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.deleone.com. Apparently, he decided to conceal this highly relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. July 2022), Ralph practices his so-called brand of law with the DiLeone Law Group at 353 East Six Forks in Raleigh, North Carolina.
