Attorney Stanley Kakol Jr. of Lithonia, GA; repeat offender

The state of Georgia presented Stanley J. Kakol Jr. with a law license in 1985 after she graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law.

The Georgia State Bar found Stan guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

Stan’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to withdraw representation upon client termination
• Willfully abandoned client’s legal matter
• Failed to promptly notify client of receipt of client funds
• Commingled client funds with personal funds

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Georgia Supreme Court punished Stan by gifting him with a complimentary 3-year suspension of his law license.  

Stan’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to maintain required escrow account
• Lied to bankruptcy trustee that he had placed client’s $1,000 in an escrow account
• Engaged in professional conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Georgia Supreme Court punished Stan by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. July 2022), Stan practices his so-called brand of law at 5353 Fairington Road in Lithonia, Georgia.
