Attorney David Hands of Charlotte, NC; ethical dwarf

The state of North Carolina presented David William Hands with a law license in 2012 after he graduated from North Carolina Central University School of Law.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Davey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to adequately supervise his paralegal
• Because of Davey’s failure to properly supervise his paralegal, client proceeds were wired to fraudster’s account
• Due to the unsupervised paralegal’s conduct, Davey incurred claims against his insurers, a lawsuit from his client, and loss of a significant portion of the payoff proceeds.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Davey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand. 

And lastly, as one would suspect, Davey fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.handslawonline.com. Apparently, he decided to conceal this highly relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. June 2022), Davey practices his so-called brand of law with the Hands Law Office PLLC at 3558 North Davidson Street in Charlotte, North Carolina.
