Rep. Chip Roy (TX): Today’s “Bigoted Loser” Award Winner

Chip is another in a long list of loser attorneys like Sen. Lindsey Graham and Mitch “Moscow Mitch” McConnell that decided to go into politics after learning how difficult it was to earn a dishonest living practicing law after he graduated in 2003 from University of Texas School of Law. Therefore, he decided to go into the second most ethical profession (used car salesman No. 1), politics.

In a never-ending attempt to portray himself as one of Texas’ Premier Racists, Chip decided that he vote “no” on the Emmett Till Anti-lynching Act.

It should be noted that the Anti-lynching Act passed in the House of Representatives with 422 yes votes verses 3 no votes. Put simply, Chip was one of three dyed-in-the wool racists in the House that are against making the lynching of African Americans a hate crime. Moreover, the vote in the U.S. Senate was 100 for and Zero against.

What’s next for Chip the Bigot? Will he be willing to vote “yes” on any of the following if it is offered as legislation in the House of Representatives?

  • Reinstatement of Section 2 of the U.S. Constitution of 1787 that declared enslaved blacks in a state would be counted as three-fifths of the number of white inhabitants of said state
  • Requirement that Blacks be made to ride in the back of public transportation buses
  • Separate but equal schools for blacks allowing schools to be all white
  • White only drinking fountains

Yeah boys and girls, for Chip and those of his ilk (FYI Clyde: Ilk is not defined as a male ELK) are looking forward to returning to the good old days of Jim Crow and States Rights, which is the only thing that is really important.

As we speak (ca. May 2022), Chip continues to be an embarrassment to many Texans who do not support his bigoted views.
