Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY): Today’s “Bigoted Loser” Award Winner
This isn’t the first Award presented to Tommy. In the past, he has been the recipient of three (3) Awards in various categories. Those awards are listed at the end of this article and can be viewed by going to the listed categories.
Tommy duped the voters in the Kentucky suburbs near Cincinnati to elect him as member of the U.S. House of Representative in November 2011. In a never-ending attempt to portray himself as one of Kentucky’s Premier Racists, Tommy decided that he vote “no” on the Emmett Till Anti-lynching Act.
It should be noted that the Anti-lynching Act passed in the House of Representatives with 422 yes votes verses 3 no votes. Put simply, Tommy was one of three dyed-in-the wool racists in the House that are against making the lynching of African Americans a hate crime. Moreover, the vote in the U.S. Senate was 100 for and Zero against.
It is obvious that playing the race card in the 4th Congressional District in Kentucky is a winning hand for Tommy given the racial makeup as set forth below.
With nearly 93 out of 100 voters in the 4th being White, Tommy would get reelected in a landslide if he voted for any of the following legislation.
Yeah boys and girls, for Tommy and those of his ilk (FYI Clyde: Ilk is not defined as a male ELK) returning to the good old days of Jim Crow and States Rights is the only thing that is important.
As we speak (ca. May 2022), Tommy continues to be an embarrassment to many Kentuckians who do not support his bigoted views. |
