Attorney Joseph Farwell of Rolling Meadows, IL; ethical gnome

The state of Illinois presented Howard Joseph C. Farwell with a law license in 1988 after he graduated from DePaul University School of Law.

The Illinois Registration and Disciplinary Commission Office found Joey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• While in the process of closing down his law firm, Joey converted over $8,000 that his firm had collected, and was holding for a client
• Joey did not repay the funds until the client complained to the ethics investigators

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Joey by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. May 2022), Joey practices his so-called brand of law at 1701 Golf Road in Rolling Meadows, Illinois.
