Donald Trump: Today’s “Killer Tomato Scaredy Cat” Award Winner

This isn’t the first award presented to The Great Leader and/or or article dealing with his questionable antics. In the past he has been the subject of 713 awards, 128 opinion pieces and 119 laments. For a list of the prior awards and/or articles, see the items detailed at the end of this article.

During an October 2021 deposition testimony involving a civil lawsuit filed by several protestors who claim they were violently attacked by Donnie’s security guards outside Trump Tower in New York City. The protestors further claim that Donnie’s bodyguard Keith Schiller, ripped away their signs, and punched and choked one protestor.

In his response to questions posed by the attorney representing the protestors, Donnie provided the following sworn testimony.

• “I wanted to have people be ready because we were put on alert that they were going to do fruit.”
• “It’s very dangerous stuff. You can get killed with those things.” (Tomatoes)
• “Necessary for security to be aggressive to stop people from throwing pineapples, bananas, tomatoes, stuff like that.”

Donnie’s answers as set forth above dealt with his remarks at a rally in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in early 2016 when he told those in attendance to “knock the crap” out of protestors who might throw tomatoes at him.

Have you ever heard of any protestor throwing pineapples at a politician? The average weight of a pineapple is 2.1 pounds, meaning it would be difficult for anyone other than a weightlifter to throw it at someone.

If Donnie the Scaredy Cat appeared at a rally with Sen. Ted Cruz and he saw someone getting ready to throw some Cherry Tomatoes at him, he’d likely try to hide behind Teddy.
