Attorney Nathaniel Gordon of Chicago; cheating scammer

The state of Illinois presented Nathaniel Gordon with a law license in 2010 after he graduated from DePaul University School of Law.

The Illinois Registration and Disciplinary Commission Office found Nate guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to file a brief in his client’s criminal appeal
  • Did not refund the fees he received for the representation (cheater)
  • Made misrepresentations to his client, a third party
  • Made false statements to ethics investigators (Up yours, said Nate!)
  • Fabricated a file-stamp to make it appear that he had filed appellate brief on behalf of his client
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Nick by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of her law license effective

As we speak (ca. May 2022), Nate practices his so-called brand of law in Chicago, Illinois.
