The state of Illinois presented Nathaniel Gordon with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from DePaul University School of Law.

The Illinois Registration and Disciplinary Commission Office found Donnie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Misappropriated (stole) over $30,000 from a supplemental needs trust established for his disabled client
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Donnie by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license effective
