Attorney John Paleczny of Chicago, IL; thieving liar

 

The state of New Jersey presented John Paul Paleczny with a law license after in 2018 after he graduated from DePaul University School of Law.

 

The Disciplinary Commission found Johnny guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Billed more than 2,000 hours on a closed pro bono case (thief)
  • The sham 2,000 hour claim netted Johnny a $12,000 bonus
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation
  • After his firm fired him, Johnny interviewed with at least four Chicago law firms, falsely saying his firm laid him off from because he did not have enough work to do

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license, effective September 2021.

 

As we speak (ca. April 2022), Johnny will resume his so-called brand of law at 758 North Larrabee Street in Chicago, Illinois in August 2022.
