Attorney Giuseppe Campisi Jr.  of Ontario, CAN; ethical goblin

The Law Society of Upper Canada presentedGiuseppe Campisi Jr. with a law license in 19894 after he graduated from the Osgood Hall School of Law.

The Hearing Committee for the Law Society of Ontario found Giuseppe guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Improperly communicated with represented parties, namely adjusters and other employees of insurance companies, instead of and/or without copying counsel
• While acting for client C, the respondent engaged in sharp practice by writing several demand style letters
• While acting for clients A, B, C and D, the respondent failed to supervise a non-licensee and/or improperly delegated legal tasks to a non-licensee, namely a law clerk
• Failed to copy counsel for insurer with required documents

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Hearing Committee punished Giuseppe by gifting her with a complimentary 2-month suspension of his law license.  

And lastly, as one would suspect, Giuseppe and his firm fail to mention the misconduct set forth above on their self-serving website at www.campislilaw.ca. Apparently, they chose to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting their future victim pool.
